MMP Antibodies, Assays & Enzymes
AnaSpec, EGT group is pleased to offer an extensive range of products (antibodies, assays kits, recombinant proteins and peptides) in support of research related to matrix metalloproteinases. In response to popular demand to expand our SensoLyte® Plus line of kits, we are pleased to announce the recent release of the SensoLyte® Plus 520 MMP-2 assay kit,. SensoLyte® Plus assays are designed specifically for detecting a certain MMP activity in biological sample which may contain multiple MMPs. A monoclonal anti-human-MMP antibody is employed to pull down the MMP of interest from the mixture first. The activity of the MMP is then quantified by a 5-FAM/QXL® 520 fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) peptide. The fluorescence signal is monitored at Ex/Em=490 nm/520 nm upon MMP-induced cleavage of the FRET substrate. SensoLyte® 520 MMP Assay Kits which do not contain a pull down antibody are useful for screening of inhibitors using a purified MMP. With published results in world-class journals and the industrys longest wavelength, the SensoLyte® Plus and SensoLyte® 520 line is one of the most sensitive (Figure 2) and brightest lines of MMP assay kits in the world.
